DirecTV launched DirecTV2PC software beta version. and note with:"The DIRECTV2PC Playback Advisor application will test your PC to see if it is capable of playing recorded HD programs from your receiver using the DIRECTV2PC application. The results of the test will offer advice as to whether or not your computer meets the minimum system recommendations; however, DIRECTV does not guarantee the accuracy of the test results. If you have any questions about your PC's compatibility it is recommended that you contact your PC manufacturer for assistance with system verification and/or upgrades."


DIRECTV2PC software allows to stream the programs on DVR to PC, can watch them in up to full HD resolution.

DIRECTV2PC Features

• Operating System: Microsoft Windows Vista or Microsoft Windows XP (Only supports Windows XP with Service Pack 2 installed)
• Processor: Dual or quad core processors recommended
• System Memory (RAM) : 512 MB (minimum), 1 GB or more is recommended
• Video RAM 512 MB (minimum) graphics card memory, 1 GB or more is recommended
